Our
History
Operations of Florida Academy of Massage & Skin Care began
on April 17, 1992. Between then and October 1, 1992, (the day the
first classes began) Florida Academy of Massage & Skin Care was
licensed by the State of Florida Department of Education, and
became a Board of Massage approved school. On December 7, 1995, the
school was purchased by Nornob Corporation, Inc., headed by Ronald
D. Gray, an experienced business executive. Under Mr. Gray's
guidance, the school has experienced rapid growth. The faculty has
been strengthened, the administrative staff upgraded and the
reputation of the school has continued to grow both locally and
throughout the state and country. In 1999, Florida Academy of
Massage & Skin Care leased additional square footage and
initiated the Skin Care Training Program.
After 15 years
in the same location,
Florida Academy relocated to larger quarters, doubling our size and
increasing our services. We are now located in The Colonial Center
Shopping Plaza, 4391 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33966.
