Placement
Florida Academy of Massage & Skin Care employs a Placement
Director. This position's primary responsibility is to provide
placement services to graduating students and alumni. These
services include instruction in; resume writing, preparation of
cover letters, interviewing techniques and networking skills.
Special attention is given to developing professionalism in our
graduates.
The Placement Office continually works with potential employers
attempting to match their specific employment needs to the
appropriate graduate. Florida Academy of Massage & Skin Care
networks with a variety of chiropractors, spas, clinics, medical
doctors, hospitals, physical therapists, Licensed Massage
Therapists and Facial Specialists. As a result of these well tended
lines of communication, we receive notices of a variety of
available positions with local employers.
The school provides placement assistance for its graduates, but
makes no promise or guarantee of employment. Graduates may continue
to use any and all of our placement resources indefinitely at no
charge. Florida Academy of Massage & Skin Care will also
provide letters of recommendation for qualified students and
graduates. Requests for this service should be made in
writing.
